Born in the grounds of the famous Lagos Cathedral in Nigeria, Ebenezer’s childhood had a soundtrack. He grew up with daily choral and contemporary music in the cathedral and eyed up the drums played by the boy’s brigade and church band. By age 3, ‘Junior’ was drumming with them. Life in Africa’s busiest city was hard and Ebenezer shared the dream of every musician in Lagos; to perform, travel, and find success against the odds.
A mentor advised Ebenezer to practice drums harder than anyone else, every day, every night and every minute he could, to stand out from the crowd. That’s exactly what he did.

​Ebenezer went on to drum in Nigeria and internationally with reputable artists such as Fireboy DML, Oxlade, Joeboy, Mike Abdul, Chike, Liya, and BNXN [Buju].
Over eight years of playing, recording and directing projects with singers and producers, Ebenezer has built a reputation for the way he hears every sound, not only beats, for his strong loyalty and professionalism, and getting jobs done!
He is versatile in different genres of music - Jazz, Rock, Afrobeats, Highlife and Gospel. He has played in different settings at the highest calibre of professional drumming; live festival audiences of over 30,000, Tiny Desk online, Jimmy Fallon on TV, YouTube concerts, and sold out tours across Africa and Australia.
Ebenezer moved to the UK in 2024, where he founded LM Studio in Leith, Edinburgh. He is looking for drumming and music production opportunities here in the UK and internationally.
